Our Story

You can’t trust everything…. but you can trust that the Chain Locker™️ was born out of pure necessity and good old fashioned sweat and tears.

We are Scott and Kellee Miller - a husband and wife team from Northern Kentucky. We met 20 years ago in the woods (literally!) and still believe life is better in the woods.

Between managing our property and cutting firewood that we harvest from dead or fallen trees, chainsawing is a common chore for us. Trying to keep “his and hers” and “sharp vs dull” chains separated over the years lead to our idea of the Chain Locker. When we say the Chain Locker was born in the backwoods of Kentucky, that’s just what we mean.

During the pandemic, we had a little extra time on our hands so we decided to see what it would take to turn our idea into a hardworking American product. Nearly 2 years later, after a few trips, falls, sleepless nights and test fitting more chains than we can count….here we are! Did we mention it is Made in the USA? (That was one of the easiest decisions.)
